Mennonite Museum
image author: Rüdiger Poweleit According to local tradition Menno Simons's print shop was located at the Mennokate (small cottage). The Fresenburger prints appeared during the last five years of Menno Simons's life (died 1561). The house made from fieldstones and bricks of the old format has a white plastered outside. The house and the lime tree in front are subject to monumental protection. The lime tree has probably been planted by Menno Simons.
