image author: Stadt Glinde
Glinde is situated in the south of the district Stormarn and in the east near Free and Hanse-town Hamburg. From here, the Sachsen-forest and the Stormarner Schweiz can be easily reached as can the Hamburger city centre. Attractive are also the national traffic connections. Glinde is directly connected to the motorway Hamburg via the district road 80. It is also possible to reach Scandinavia easily via the motorway Hamburg-Lübeck.
